there are a number of factors that are not listed for me...one being the ability to get involved in leadership in my community, also, faith in the political system (syracuse lacks this!), and quality of parks (and for me, running trails)
There is so much history in Europe, and living that much closer to it will provide more chances to learn from it.

"other" would mean that the location is sufficant for raising a family, and I would like it to be semi-close to my own family and friends far enough but you can still get there in a day if you needed too. Plus if it's a secure safe neighborhood.

I'm temporarily ignoring the fact that Syracuse is somewhat dreary in order to try to get ahead. Having established professional contacts at the university also keeps me here. Plus, there is a small but loyal group of people attempting to progress cultural activities

immediately after I graduate I pretty much plan to get a job in my field but that's in the area where my other half will be recruited
